Religion:
In Religion this week we will continue to read Bible stories. We will read the story of Adam and Eve and make stick puppets to retell the story. We will also read the story about" The Cat who Smelled Like Cabbage." This is a story about accepting others. Our other story will be "The Parrot who Talked to much". This is a story about using kind words. We will have Mass on Friday at 8:30. After Mass we will go to our classrooms and receive our report cards. School will be dismissed at 10'oclock. May all of you have a blessed summer !
Reading:
We have finished our reading series for this year. We will not have a spelling test this Friday. We will be giving our reports and enjoying our International Lunch this Tuesday. Please come dressed in your costume when you come to school . You may bring other clothes to change into after your report. Remember ,you do not need to bring or buy a lunch as we will be having our lunch together in our classroom.
Math:
This week we will continue with two digit addition and subtraction. We will work with problem solving strategies.
Social Studies/Science:
Our Social Studies this week will be reporting and listening to other reports about countries in our world.
In Science, we will continue learning about dinosaurs.
Please remember our school picnic is on Thursday. We will walk from our school to Lyons Park at 12 0'Clock. Remember to send a cold lunch with a drink and sunscreen with your child. The children will be dismissed from the park at 2:30. If they are going to extended care they may ride the bus back to the school.
